How I work

Ship small, ship often

Long-lived branches hide risk. Small changes behind flags, released continuously, make problems cheap to find and cheaper to undo.

Boring where it counts

Novelty belongs in the product, not the database. I spend the interesting-technology budget deliberately and keep the foundations dull and dependable.

Leadership is a craft

Clear scope, honest estimates, real feedback. The job is to make the team's good work possible, then get out of the way of it.

Write it down

Design docs, decision records, runbooks. Written thinking is how a team stays aligned when the room isn't available.
